It's appropriate that this entry is on a website called iamforeverlost, because this rest area is also lost. It doesn't exist anymore. The off-ramp is still there, because it's necessary for servicing a cell tower, but it's blocked off with orange barrels. This means there's no rest areas for 140 miles of WB I-64 from Frankfort, KY to US-231 in Indiana. Passing from KY into IN, you're still 70 miles to a rest area, instead of 9.
Today Oct 30th I left my phone in the Ladies restroom. My daughter had attempted to call me & fortunately the two ladies working Sunday afternoon answered my phone & told my daughter they had my phone. I returned to the rest stop & the two nice ladies were waiting for me. I thanked those two nice ladies but please give them special recognition for being such good employees. I hope to always say hello to these two ladies every time I stop there.
We stopped there Fri Sept 23 and my 80 yr old mom was approached by a man asking for money that someone stole his family diaper bag with their money in it I believe he was a scam
Apparently this is a very popular place with gay men to meet up and so on. Not sure why police don't patrol it. This has been going on for years.
